Ballroom/Latin – Ballroom and Latin is increasingly popular for
both children and adults due to ‘strictly come dancing’ and     
‘mad hot ballroom’.  The Ballroom dances consist of Waltz,
Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep and Viennese Waltz. The Latin
consists of Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso doble  and Jive.
Each dance has its own style, rhythm and charator.
Ballroom and Latin can be danced for fun, to keep fit, at social
events or at a competitive level.
 
Modern sequence – this style of dance is a more modern version
 of oldtime, which developed in the 1900′s. Modern sequence
is based around the ballroom and Latin dances, with more
recently salsa and mambo  styles being introduced.
Modern sequence dances are set 16 bar routines that
everyone dances.
Sequence dancing is one of the most popular forms of social dancing.
  
Rock ‘n’ Roll – Rock n Roll is a very popular dance style that
has been around since the 1950′s, enjoyed by both children  and
adults. Learn the basic rock step action to begin, then onto the
flicks, kicks, twists and spins.
Basic Rock n Roll is also taught in adults Ballroom and Latin
classes as a starter to the energetic jive.  
 
 Argentine Tango- this style of dance originated from the streets of Buenos Aires in Argentina in the 19th century. It is File:Tango-Show-Buenos-Aires-01.jpgknown as a social dance. Tango is like a puzzle that gets put together differently each time. It is based around the four building blocks of walking, turning, stopping and decorations. The man’s main job is to give the lead as the lady is the follower.
 
Bellydance- is a type of Arabic Dance and is both a celebration of the female spirit and a physical display of the Loveday - Bellydance instructorstrength and beauty of women. The term ‘belly dance’ is said to come from the French ‘danse du ventre’ – dance of the stomach. The dance involves the isolation of the upper and lower body using muscle control to create dynamic moves alongside what I like to call oozy moves! Travelling, spins and turns are also key parts of the dance making bellydance an exciting and exhilarating dance form to learn.
